Pismo Beach
The City of Pismo Beach is part of the original 8,838 acre Rancho Pismo which originated in the 1840s. In 1881 Pismo’s wharf open below Main Street and the old pilings can still be seen today. The present city government began in 1946 allowing Pismo Beach to celebrate its 60th Anniversary in 2006.

Pismo Beach is known as home of some of the longest, most beautiful white beaches along the Pacific Ocean on the California Coast. Located in San Luis Obispo County, It offers a wide variety of recreational activities as well as fabulous shopping and relaxation Oceanside. You can ride ATVs, go camping, kayaking, surfing, fishing, horseback riding, walk or run on the beach or go out to one of 40 wonderful restaurants or shopping downtown.

Pismo Beach is the epitome of beautiful California weather with year round highs between 60 to 80 degrees and lows between 40 to 50 degrees with late summer to early fall being the warmest time of year.

This beautiful stretch along the Pacific is surrounded by outlet shopping, championship level golf courses, and so much more in it’s home county of San Luis Obispo.
